Medicine Hat Under a Snowfall Warning

The snow has begun falling in Medicine Hat. The wind is making it feel colder and producing visibility issues on Southern Alberta highways. Hwy 41 south of the TransCanada Hwy is snow covered with reduced visibility. With the temperature near zero (feels like -8C), the roads will be slippery.

Environment Canada says Medicine Hat can expect accumulations up to 15cm (6 inches) today with up to 20 cm (8 inches) near the Cypress Hills, snow is ending tonight.
