Medicine Hat Family Fun & Flight Airport Open House July 2022
Full Disclosure, I am the newest board member of the Medicine Hat Family Fun and Flight Committee (FFF). One of the perks of working for Community TV is I get to advertise this event.
This is the letter that we sent out to potential businesses this year. We’re not proud, we’ll take money from individuals as well. Not only do we need sponsors but we also need volunteers. The show is on Monday July 25 but we also need volunteers on Sunday July 24 and Tuesday July 26 as well to set up and tear down. (The Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede starts Wednesday July 27).

This is going to be a great FREE event, there will be:
static and informative displays,
aerial shows and
the opportunity to purchase plane rides.
Food trucks will be also on site. More details to come as we hammer them out. Parking is very limited so we will have a park and ride option with a free shuttle. Special handicapped parking will be set up on site. Did I mention this is all FREE?
Dear Business Organizations
Family Fun and Flight will be hosting an Airshow at the Medicine Hat Airport on July 25, 2022. This year’s event will focus on getting the community of Medicine Hat to come out and enjoy a day of Aviation at our wonderful airport. Many local Commercial and civilian aircraft will be featured on static and aerial display, as well as various other local aviation related clubs and organizations. Family Fun & Flight provides up close and personal interaction with the aircraft, aircrew, informative displays, and an opportunity for a scenic flight around our beautiful city provided by Super T Aviation.
To offer free admission to our community, we need to cover required cost such as insurance, transportation, water stations, public sanitation and more. We estimate that cost to be approximately $20000. We are planning a full-scale event with static and flying performances!
Family Fun and Flight is hoping for your business or organization will consider becoming a sponsor of this event. This year we have created 3 different levels of sponsorship to give your business the option that suits you the best. The Family, Fun and Flight committee understands that times are still challenging, and any support would be greatly appreciated. Proceeds above cost recovery and event succession planning will be donated to local charities.
Support Levels:
SABRE $1000 – Scenic flight for 3 people around Medicine Hat provided by Super T Aviation, your companies signage at the event, advertised on our event poster and Facebook page.
HARVARD $500 - $999 – Signage at the event, Advertised on our event poster and Facebook page. Harvard sponsors will be entered into a draw for a scenic tour flight from Super T Aviation.
AVRO ANSEN $1 - $499 – Signage at the event, advertised on our Facebook page.
