A city bus crash on an icy stretch of road resulted in only minor injuries Tuesday afternoon.
Police on scene said those injuries were treated on-scene following the collision between the westbound bus and a tree on Sixth Street between Belfast and Cambridge streets in the Southeast Hill neighbourhood.

The accident occurred around 3:15 say police.
A resident who lives nearby the accident said it was the third incident he witnessed Tuesday on that block of Sixth Street. The man said he saw a car colliding with a bus bench at around 6 a.m. followed by him witnessing a Jeep slide sideways along the same section of road.
The resident added the road had been graded recently but the snow buildup hadn’t been cleared from the street.
Police, fire and EMS along with MH Transit officials are still at the scene as of 4:30 p.m. with traffic being detoured.
