Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect for:

• City of Medicine Hat

Thunderstorms will continue to develop this evening. These thunderstorms will move to the southeast and may be capable of producing large hail, gusty winds and heavy rain. The risk of severe thunderstorms will diminish this evening.

When thunder roars, go indoors!

Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Large hail can cause significant damage and injury. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
