Police are seeking two individuals connected to a shooting on Belfast Street early Friday morning.

A Facebook post by an individual claiming to have been in the apartment building stated the incident occurred around 2 am Friday morning.

City police announced Friday they are investigating the incident as a targeted robbery and firearms-related incident.

Police say they responded to the apartment following reports of an altercation involving several individuals known to one another. Multiple occupants of the residence were assaulted, resulting in non-life-threatening injuries. Weapons were used during the incident, and threats were made toward those present.

They also stated that an officer en countered the suspects in a common area of the building and one of them discharged a firearm. No injuries were reported with the firearm subsequently seized by police.

The MHPS Major Crime Unit assumed carriage of the investigation.

Arrest warrants have been issued for Brendon Webb, 33, and Brooklyn Carriere, 31, in connection with multiple offences including robbery, assault, and firearms-related charges.
