City Cop Accused of Witness Tampering Charges Pushed Over 3 Weeks
A long-serving city cop’s plea on charges of obstructing justice by witness tampering was adjourned Thursday at Medicine Hat Court of Justice.
MHPS Const. Noel Darr, 56, was charged by Edmonton police in July on allegations he dissuaded or attempted to dissuade witnesses in a judicial matter from giving evidence.
The offence occurred between February and November 2022, according to court documents.
The court heard some outstanding disclosure is required by the Crown to be unsealed.
Darr’s next appearance is scheduled for March 26.
