Since the manager, Collin Macdonald, with sexual harassment allegations against him, was still working at The Monarch Theatre, I visited Shelley Ross, our local chief librarian, and director on the board (Collin Macdonald's boss) to see what the policies were, and ask if he should still be at work. It got awkward fast...

She pulls me into a back office because she doesn't want anyonw to hear my questions.
She tries to grab my notes for some reason.
She tries to belittle me calling me "sweetie", and also accuses me of ambushing her after the whole thing is over.

As a librarian with mutliple degrees who has worked at government organizations she should know better. If young people came forward with complaints and she allowed Wayne Smith to "take care of them" without any oversight, than she is culpable for the mistreatment of youth. Her neglect of this problem (along with all the other CCDA board members) lead to this horrible situation. She should have made sure Collin was suspended while they investigated properly.
