The Results of Employee Engagement Survey Must Be Devastating

CB says he can sleep better now.

Judging by what they said at the Council Employee Committee meeting yesterday, the survey results must be devastating. I heard these phrases -

“Not necessarily focused on scores but what actions we take to move organization forward”

“It’s natural to focus on negative scores, we need to learn from what happened but not dwell on what happened, we want to make it a better place.”

(Of course not verbatim, I’m not that good at transcribing and the tape is not available.)

I witnessed an exchange between Mayor Clark and Acting City Manager Heggelund that was interesting.
