Manz Arrested After Fight With Cops at Didulo Cult Compound

Richmound, SK — A 61-year-old local man, Ricky Manz, has been charged with assaulting a peace officer and resisting arrest following a confrontation with RCMP at a disputed property tied to the self-proclaimed "Kingdom of Canada" cult.

The incident occurred on July 18 when RCMP were called to assist municipal staff inspecting a leaking water main on the grounds of the decommissioned Richmound School, which has been without city services since 2022. The property, now occupied by followers of Romana Didulo—a self-declared "queen" who claims sovereignty over Canada and the galaxy—has been a source of tension in the community.

According to RCMP, officers were present to "keep the peace" as municipal workers attempted to access the site. A physical altercation broke out, leading to Manz's arrest. Video of the incident circulated online, showing a struggle between Manz and officers.

Manz had previously attempted to convert the old school into a legal cannabis grow-op but abandoned the project due to financial constraints before production began. The property was later taken over by Didulo’s group, which has been accused of exploiting elderly followers through financial demands and coercive living conditions. Rick still owns the land, but is acting like a loyal cult follower, in this bizarre video.

Romana Didulo’s Background

Didulo, who claims to be the "Queen of Canada", leads the Kingdom of Canada, a group linked to QAnon conspiracy theories, alien beliefs, and anti-government rhetoric. According to Wikipedia, she has directed followers to issue fake "cease and desist" notices to officials and has promoted bizarre decrees, including ordering Canadians to stop paying taxes.

Her group has faced allegations of financial exploitation, with reports of elderly members being pressured to donate assets and live in communal, controlled environments.

OWL NEWS On-Site Investigation

Later on July 18, OWL News visited the property to document the compound. While filming, our crew was harassed and intimidated by several elderly women associated with the group, who shouted demands to leave and filmed our team in an apparent attempt to intimidate.

Manz is scheduled to appear in Leader Provincial Court on September 18. The RCMP investigation is ongoing.
