Mounties Seeking Suspects In Attempted Jewelry Store Smash & Grab

Mounties in Brooks are seeking three suspects connected to a stolen truck which drove into a jewelry store during what is being described as an attempted break and enter early Monday morning.
Brooks RCMP were alerted to the incident a little before 4:30 am and dispatched to the scene of Hicks Jewellers on Second Street. West across from the Hotel Newell.
Mounties found a black Ford F-150 which had mounted the curb and smashed into the business’ front window, smashing the glass but not fully breaching the security bars.
The pickup truck was recently reported stolen out of Calgary, according to RCMP.
Three individuals were seen fleeing the scene in a silver SUV with a burnt out headlight.
On Monday afternoon, RCMP released photos of three suspects as well as what is believed to be the getaway vehicle.
