ATA Says Teachers Can Sign Recall Petitions
After hearing about teachers being worried about losing their jobs for signing recall petitions or participating, the Owl reached out to the Alberta Teachers Association (ATA) for a comment.
Smith Recall Campaign Cautiously Confident
One of the people helping with the Smith recall campaign did not have an estimate of signatures collected so far but says they are fairly confident. They are not resting though, they don’t want to become complacent. They’re encouraging everyone to come out and sign, they have until March 10 2026.

The Recall Process takes months to be effective when the party can just remove their own MLA from caucus.
