Citizen Initiative Petition Signing In Front of City Hall Aug 14

This purpose of this Citizen Initiative Petition is to propose a referendum on the following question -
Do You Agree That Alberta Should Remain in Canada?
Local canvassers will be collecting signatures tommorow in front of City Hall. The Forever Canadian group must collect nearly 300,000 signatures by October 28 2025 to force a referendum on this matter. Signature collection started in Edmonton and Calgary and has moved out to surrounding areas.
Signature Requirements
Petition signers must be
a Canadian citizen
18 years of age and
a resident of Alberta
Signatures must be witnessed by a registered canvasser, they will have badges.
